As a Student Ambassador here at Ambrose, a part of my job is letting potential students know about the school. The greatest way of doing this is through sharing personal experiences of current students. For this blog, I’ve interviewed a few students about their experience here at Ambrose University.

It is officially Reading Week! For many university students, this mid-semester break allows for many of us to take a break and relax, get a head start on assignments and plan out the rest of the semester. Reading break is a great way to evaluate how second semester is going and to regain some more energy and enthusiasm about the rest of the term. I decided to interview some Ambrose students to see what they’re doing with their week off.

Hey! It’s your Vice President of Social Events and I’m here to let you know about an annual Ambrose Event. The Emma House Christmas Banquet has been held here at Ambrose for the last 5 years. Emma House is a local non-profit organization that aims to offer support and safety to homeless, pregnant women. It is in partnership with Emma House that Ambrose students set up this banquet and create a fun evening for these deserving mothers and their children.

Hey! My name is Thando Mkhabela and I am a senior student ambassador this year. I’m just here to let you know a little bit about myself as well as my journey at Ambrose. I am currently in my third year in the Behavioural Science (BHS) program. I’m in this program because I enjoy hearing people’s stories. I really like hearing where people have been, the situations they’ve faced and how it has impacted them. Based on all of this, I thought the BHS program would be a great fit and it has definitely turned out to be.
