Living off-campus either with family, or with some roommates in a rental property, is not that much different. I’ve never lived in residence, and while it looks like a BLAST, I have always enjoyed being able to leave the campus for my home.  Here are what I would consider 5 Important Things to Know When Living Off-Campus:

How do you see God in your education when you’re tired of – well, your education?

Posted by Emily Hyrcha

Well, have you ever felt that feeling of “being done” with something? Or, loving every minute of it, while simultaneously ready to move on to the next chapter in your life? That tension of wanting time to move faster, while at the same time wanting it to slow down? I remember feeling this way when I was in grade 12, and now I’m living it again in my final year of my undergraduate degree. Hello, From Me!

Posted by Emily Hyrcha

Hi there! My name is Emily Hyrcha, and I’m a Senior Student Ambassador at Ambrose University! I’m going to share a little bit about me, and my journey with Ambrose (the best school everrrr).

Who am I?

So a bit about me… I’m allergic to peanuts (“so fun!” … said no allergic person out there ever), I love the smell of the laundry detergent aisle in grocery stores, and my favourite food is spinach dip. I’m in my fourth year at Ambrose, finishing a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies degree, before starting my Bachelor of Education degree at Ambrose next fall. And let me just tell you this: I. Love. Ambrose. This is by far the best choice that I could have made in terms of post-secondary school. I didn’t always know that though! Fun fact: I was also accepted to both the U of C and Mount Royal.
