The campus of Ambrose University was built in 2008 with great facilities. These facilities include Commuter Collegium, cafeteria, a lot of seating areas, and much more. Those who are in the Seminary programs are very grateful to have an area called Seminary commons. So what happens in that area?
Need a place to nap? Seminary commons is the place!
As you can see, there are so many comfortable seating areas. Students who are tired will just pull the available blankets to take a nap. And people around will respect each other’s space and noise.
Need a place to eat?
There are two large tables in the commons for people to sit down and eat. There is a pantry with several small tables as well. These are great seating areas to enjoy your meal or even chat with others!
Need a place to do your readings and assignments?
All the tables that are in the commons are for students to either eat or do their assignments. Students would also sit on the sofas to read or do their assignments.
Need a place to be in a community? Chat with people?
The term Seminary Commons actually defines not the physical place, but the people. It’s a place where there is community. It’s a place where you can find something in common with others. There are so many people from different places that we learn from each other’s culture and even their own theology. Again, we respect each other who we are!
Need a place to leave your belongings, coats, and food?
During winter we have our thick coats with us. People who commute to school would probably have their backpacks, their food, and their coat with them. Sometimes you would not want to carry all those with you during the day at Ambrose. So again, Seminary commons is the place to put all those belongings and set your hands free for the day!
