Hey Friends!
My name is Miranda Perry, and I am a Student Ambassador here at Ambrose! I am also a full time student in my final semester of the Bachelor of Theology in Children and Family Ministry! I grew up in a very small town called Oxford, Nova Scotia—which is the blueberry capital of Canada in case you wanted to know.
Some fun facts about me!
- I got married to my high school sweetheart this past June!
- I changed my degree five times before I entered into Children’s Ministry
- I love chips, and I mean chips on any kind—except ketchup—that’s just gross!
- I’m 5 feet tall on a good day
- I’m a resident of Prince Edward Island and I still have yet to meet Anne of Green Gables
- My favorite holiday is Christmas
Ambrose has become my home over the past four years. When I came to visit Ambrose I had already moved over 17 times in my life, and as soon as I stepped foot on Ambrose soil I felt as if I was finally home. The community of peers and professors has shaped me into the women of God I am becoming. I encourage anyone who lives far away or not far away to come and check out Ambrose for yourself—I promise you won’t regret it! While my time is short here at Ambrose I assure you it will be the best four years of our life! You will gain long lasting friendships, mentors, and an education where professors care about your academics and want to see you succeed.
I thought I was coming to Ambrose to earn an education, but I feel like I am leaving with so much more!
Stay tuned to my next blog where I teach you how to fly!
