What Program Should I Choose?

What program should I take? This is a question that I was asking myself the whole time I was considering universities, and man, it was not an easy one to answer. The degrees that you can take are so unique and all have different pros about them. I remember researching and researching the different program options, and looking at which one would get me closer to my end goal of becoming a teacher.

What I did not know coming into university is that I could change degrees at any time. I started off coming to Ambrose taking a major in English Literature. Part way through my first year, I realized that I was really enjoying the Behavioral Science courses that I was taking so I decided to minor in it. Nearing the end of my first year, I decided that that was not quite what I wanted either, and that I wanted more Behavioral Science so I switched into both an English Concentration and a Behavioral Science Concentration.

What is a concentration you may be asking? Well, it is a condensed Bachelor of Arts degree that takes 3 years as opposed to a 4 year major.

This means that by the end of my first year I have changed different aspects of my degree twice. So, I want you to know that when you come to Ambrose your degree is not set in stone. You can take the time you need to find what works for you and discover what is going to help you reach your final career goal.
