Step Into My Adventure

Hi! My name is McKenzie and I am a first year English student here at Ambrose University. Before coming to Ambrose I lived in Innisfail Alberta and attended Gateway Christian School and Lindsey Thurber Comprehensive High School in Red Deer, Alberta. My family consists of my mom, dad, and little sister Camryn. My dad is a pastor at the Nazarene Church in Innisfail and my mom is a Grade 5 teacher at Gateway Christian School.

The choice to come to Ambrose had always seemed like the easy one since both of my parents attended Ambrose back when it was CNC in Winnipeg. But in my grade 12 year so many different options for post-secondary education were presented.HSH_icon.jpg

It became clear to me after I attended the open house at Ambrose, that it was the right choice for me. The atmosphere here already felt like home. The profs who I met that day were so excited to meet me and seemed genuinely interested in what I wanted to do with my degree after I graduated. I was impressed by the caring atmosphere at Ambrose.

I have most certainly not regretted my decision to come and be a part of the Ambrose community. The professors and staff here at Ambrose are fully dedicated to the subjects that they teach, and the friends that I have made are ones that will last a lifetime.

I hope that as you contemplate whether Ambrose is the right institution for you; you will feel the presence of God directing you in his path for your life. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it.” ~ Isaiah 30:21.
