Don’t know what to do in Calgary? Let me help you!

Did you know that Calgary is the third largest city in Canada after Toronto and Montreal?! I have heard many people say that Calgary is a boring city, but that is not true.

There is so much to do! You just have to find the right resources and the right friends to go with! I could literally write a 10-page paper on what to do here in Calgary. But a 10 page paper would probably put you to sleep or overwhelm you with too many options. So let me keep it short, concise, and clear:

Do you love to eat?

I DO! There are so many good and cheap restaurants here in Calgary for us students. But there are several locations that you must try:

Peters’ Drive-In is a fast-food eatery that is very well known for their milkshakes because they have 30 flavors and you can mix up to 3 flavors together! They also have hamburgers, fries, and onion rings.

Tubby Dog is a hot dog restaurant that sells unique and interesting flavors of hot dogs and burgers. One of my favorites is the Tubby Dog Sumo, which is topped with ginger, wasabi, seaweed, and Japanese mayo.

Do you like to jump and sweat!?

Extreme Air Park is Canada’s largest trampoline park! There are many different sections in the park including trampoline dodge ball and basketball. For $15 you can jump for 1 full hour and get a pair of socks to use at the park. It’s a great place to go with your friends to have fun, especially when winter comes and you don’t want to go outdoors!

Air Assault Friday happens from 9 PM to midnight—you can jump around with black lights and have everything glow in the dark! They have other events going on as well. Check them out on their website.

Again, I can go on and on. But you can discover the rest for yourself. Check out www.calgaryisawesome.com. It’s full of stories and events happening in Calgary.

I hope you guys have tons of fun wherever you decide to go!
